Miesha Theresa Tate, born 18 August 1986, is an American mixed martial artist. She currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where she was a former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate was before an Strikeforce female bantamweight champion. Tate was vice-president of ONE Championship. She currently ranks 10 in UFC women's bantamweight list on October 3rd, 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb of Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and her husband Robert Schmidt. As a young tomboy, Tate often hung out with her fellow boys from her neighborhood on the playgrounds.
